# Troubleshooting iOS

Common fixes for Meddly on iPhone and iPad: permissions, recording stability, camera preview, uploads, and sign-in.

## Photos access (Limited Access)

Settings → Apps → Meddly → Photos → **Edit Selected Photos** or switch to **Full Access** if the picker is missing images.

## Apple Sign-In

Verify Apple ID sign-in, network, and Hide My Email relay for Meddly. Restart the app.

## Restricted permissions

Check Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → Allowed Apps. MDM-managed devices may require IT help.

## Long recordings

Close other apps, free storage, disable Low Power Mode, stay charged. Reopen app and check upload queue after a crash; prior clips are preserved.

## Camera / microphone denied

Settings → Apps → Meddly → enable Camera and Microphone.

## Location denied

Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → Meddly → **While Using the App**.

## Black or frozen preview

Close other camera apps, leave and re-enter Camera in Meddly, force-quit app, restart device.

## Upload failures

Use stable Wi‑Fi, disable Low Power Mode, retry from upload queue, reduce bandwidth competition, restart app.
